Mary (Abby) Catherine Brown (Feb. 15, 1944 to May 14, 2015)
Abby Brown, 71 years old, passed away at her daughter's home in Boise, Idaho on May 14, 2015 of renal failure. She was born on February 15, 1944 in Rupert, Idaho to Francisco and Gladys (Johnstone) Abadia.
Abby Brown graduated in 1962 from Mt. Angel Academy in Mt Angel, Oregon. After marrying Nelson Brown in Portland and adopting two children (Molly and Kirk) Abby and Nelson moved to Paul, Idaho in 1974 and eventually settled in Rupert, Idaho.
Abby ran the Supply Department at Minidoka Memorial Hospital until she retired in 2006 at which time she moved to Boise, Idaho.
Abby is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Nelson and brother, Lloyd and sister, Margaret. She is survived by her daughter, Molly (Jason White) of Boise and Kirk (Christi) Brown of Billings, and four grandchildren, Mia & Sage White and Brady & Tyler Brown and sister, Juanita Lalli along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Graveside funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the Rupert Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hansen Mortuary.
