June Harrison Calton 90, of Rupert, passed away on March 6, 2015.
June was born in Rupert, Idaho where she lived most of her life. Her parents were Albert and Amy Harrison. She is reunited her parents, two brothers and five sisters, husband Lewis and son-in- Kevin Wardle. She is survived by her sister Rayda Baird, daughters Connie Calton (David Fenstermaker), Kathy Saleh (H. John Saleh), OaLou Wardle. June has six grandchildren: Spencer Uhl (Amanda), Brian Uhl (Michelle), Nicole Saleh Gallegos (Rene), Marcus Saleh (Debbie), Daniel Saleh (Nancy), and Kimberly Saleh Wheeler (Brandon). June has numerous Great Grandchildren and Great Great grandchildren.
June married Lewis Calton in 1941 and they lived in their same house until Lewis's and June's death.
June was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had many callings in the church including Primary President. June had a love of gardening and grew plants outside in her garden and in her home. She also enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and quilting. June was over quilting at the Rupert Senior Citizen Center where she also loved to play cards.
June remained independent and driving her own car until the last few months of her life. She passed away peacefully in her sleep knowing her three daughters were at her side.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 14, 2015 at Rupert LDS 3rd Ward building. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday March 13, 2015 at Hansen Mortuary and for one hour prior to services at the church. Services will conclude with burial at the Paul cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hansen Mortuary.
