HEYBURN – Roy Eugene Decker, an 80-year-old resident of Heyburn, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at his home in Heyburn.
Roy was born on December 17, 1945, to Leroy B. Decker and Georgia Dye.
Roy married Vickie Howard on March 8, 1969.
He served in the U.S. Army from January 25, 1965, to July 21, 1969.
Roy is survived by his cat JOJO; his brother-in-law, Jim (Anjie) Howard; his nieces, Kathy Gray, Kristine (Louie) Frazee, Tiffanie (Doru) Contardo; his nephews; David Woodall, James (Tabatha) Starr, Daniel Frazee; and great-niece, Madi Contardo.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie of 55 years; his parents; two brothers, and a sister.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the Rupert Cemetery, located at 450 N. Meridian in Rupert, where military rites will be provided by the Mini-Cassia Veterans Group.
A visitation for family & friends will be held from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. prior to the graveside service at Hansen Mortuary, located at 710 6th Street, in Rupert.
