Aiyana Inez DePew

May 7, 1999 - Sep. 21, 2026

Date of Service: Oct. 10, 2026

PAUL – Aiyana Inez DePew, a 27-year-old resident of Conway, Arkansas, and formerly of Paul, Idaho, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026.

Aiyana was born May 7, 1999, to Francisco Rios and Cynthia Arteaga in Burley, Idaho. She grew up in Paul, Idaho and graduated from Minico High School in 2017. She loved a change of scenery and lived in several states over the years. First, Arizona, then Idaho again, Oregon and finally Arkansas.

The truest chapter of her life began when she met and married Terry James DePew. They lived a life filled with adventure, love and laughter. Her proudest legacy lives on in her two children, Jasper Lee and Sage James, whom she loved fiercely.

An adventurous spirit through and through, Aiyana was happiest when she was moving. She possessed deep passion for nature and stayed active outdoors anyway she could. She enjoyed hiking, biking, or even simply going out for a walk. When she wasn’t out exploring trails, she was channeling that same boundless creativity into the kitchen. Her absolute love for cooking inspired her to launch her very own business, “Pink Collar Eats.” Through her weekly food prepping services, she shared her talents with her community, turning her passion for great food into a way to care for and help others. Nothing made her happier than seeing people smile over a plate of her food.

Her greatest joy, however, was being a mother to her son, Jasper and patiently awaiting her baby on the way, Sage. She poured her heart into watching her son grow, taking deep pride in helping him learn new things and celebrating every small skill he mastered along the way.

She is survived by her husband, Terry James DePew; her children, Jasper Lee DePew and Sage James DePew; her parents, Francisco and Robyn Rios, and Cynthia Arteaga; her Siblings, Nicole León, Jesus Daniel Llamas, Brayden Rios, Franky Rios and Dallas Aiden Arteaga; her grandparents, Danny and Lupe Quiroz, and Jerry and Connie Satterwhite; and her niece, Camila Rose León. She also leaves her beloved dog Ozzi “Goose;” and many uncles, aunts; and cousins whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Edubina Diaz “Ama;” her grandfather, Henry Rios; her aunt, Whitney Murphy; her great-grandmothers, Guadalupe Pena and Magarita Hernandez Quiroz, and her great-grandfathers, Jesus Pena and Guadalupe Quiroz.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Minidoka County Fairgrounds in the McGregor Building, located at 85 East Baseline Rd, in Rupert.
