TWIN FALLS – Carl Martin Millard, age 80, of Twin Falls and formerly of Burley, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, leaving behind a life filled with love, laughter, music, creativity, and cherished memories.
Born on February 18, 1946, Carl was a proud United States Army veteran who served his country with honor and dedication. His military service was an important part of his life, and he carried the strength, courage, and dedication of his service throughout the years.
Carl was a truly great and joyful man. He had a warm heart, a wonderful sense of humor, and a special ability to bring happiness to the people around him. His smile, laughter, kindness, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Carl loved the simple pleasures of life. He especially enjoyed fishing, spending peaceful time outdoors, and enjoying nature. He also loved to sing, bringing music and happiness wherever he went. Another special passion was coloring and art, where he could express his creativity and imagination through beautiful colors and drawings.
Carl also loved cooking and baking, especially when he could share those moments with family. He particularly enjoyed cooking alongside his daughter-in-law and tasting the delicious Peruvian dishes she prepared. He always had a special appreciation for her cooking and enjoyed the opportunity to share food, stories, and family time.
During Thanksgiving and Christmas, Carl's kitchen became a place of warmth and celebration. He loved baking all kinds of pies for the family's holiday festivities. Those pies were more than just desserts—they were part of the traditions, laughter, and togetherness that made the holidays special. The memories of Carl baking and preparing food for his loved ones will be treasured for years to come. Carl was a loving father to his son, Martin Edward, and his family was an important part of his life. He will be remembered for the moments they shared, the laughter they enjoyed, and the love that connected them.
Carl was proud of his roots in Rockland, a place that held many memories and was an important part of his life. Carl's memory will live on in the little things that remind us of him—the sound of a song, a quiet day by the water, a fishing pole waiting for the next catch, a colorful drawing, or the smell of a freshly baked pie coming from the kitchen. We will remember his laughter, his joyful spirit, and the way he could make ordinary moments feel special.
Carl, you will be missed more than words can say. We will miss hearing you sing, seeing your smile, sharing meals with you, and watching you create your beautiful pies and artwork. We will miss those quiet moments, the laughter around the kitchen, and all the little traditions that became precious memories because you were there.
We hope you are somewhere peaceful now, with a fishing line in the water, beautiful colors all around you, the smell of a freshly baked pie in the air, and a song in your heart. Thank you for the love, the laughter, the meals, the music, and the memories.
You will always be loved, always be remembered, and always have a special place in our hearts. Until we meet again, Carl—rest peacefully, keep singing, and save us a place by the water. We love you.
