BURLEY - Misty Michelle Gilliam, age 49, of Burley, passed away on May 12, 2026, in Pocatello Idaho.
Misty was born on September 17, 1976, in Rupert, Idaho, to Danny Gilliam Sr. and Barbara (Stelly) Dockstader. She grew up with her two brothers, Danny Gilliam Jr. and David Gilliam.
Misty had two main life goals. She drove truck for many years for different companies. Misty also had the dream to race cars. She was able to fulfill this dream racing at Magic Valley Speedway with her brother, Danny Jr., and her best friend Alaura. Misty accomplished both of these dreams in her short lifetime.
She is survived by her daughter, Mercedes Snow; her five grandchildren, Jaydan, Raven, Ivory, Allee and Juniper; her mother, Barbara (Stelly) Dockstader; and her two brothers, Danny Gilliam jr. (Amanda) and David Gilliam.
She was preceded in death by her son, Tyler Snow; and her father, Danny Gilliam Sr.
Misty had a very kind heart and soul. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
No formal funeral service will be held. Her family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Hansen Mortuary of Rupert.
