Serafin Salinas, Sr. 72, of Rupert, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020, at Portneuf Regional Medical Center in Pocatello. He was born on June 6, 1948, in Pretoria, Michoacán, Mexico.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maria S. Salinas; his children, Serafin Salinas Jr., Lourdes (Mario) Aguilar, Yolanda (Ramon) Mexicano, Erica (Jose) Magaña, Rudy Salinas, and Sergio (Karina) Salinas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parent, Solomon and Avelina Salinas; two daughters Irene and Griselda; two grandsons Carlos and Eric and a daughter-in-law, Lorie.
Dad loved returning to his birthplace in Mexico and watching the bull riding.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Hansen Mortuary.
