Monica DeLaCruz born 01-26-1996 in Twin Falls, Idaho and passed on to be a Heavenly Angel on March 27, 2017 @ Cassia Regional Hospital. Monica resided in Burley Idaho until her death.
Living survivors are her mother Idolina Darlene DeLaCruz, Burley grandmother Susan Miller of Burley, brothers Adrian DeLaCruz Pocatello , Michael Pena Boise, and Antonio DeLaCruz of Burley, 4 nephews and three nieces. Terri and Eseqiel DeLaCruz grandparents in Inkom Idaho.
She is proceeded in death by uncles, Clarence and Esequiel DeLaCruz, Beto Serrano and Noel DeLaCruz. An aunt Jarvis Morales and grandmother Hilda Serrano.
Monica graduated from Burley High School in May 20
Monica was one of the sweetest unconditional loving people known to those who love her. She played softball, enjoyed car rides to look for horses, see semi-trucks and motion for them to blow their air horns and giggle even if they didn't respond. Collected movies but most important she collected ankle high socks, probably had about 50 pair and some to spare. The color pink was filled this young lady's world, her clothing, stuffed animals and accessory pink, pink, pink……oh yes the socks too. Feeding ducks (unless they were too close), camping, fishing, loved animals, color and spending time with loved ones.
A special thank you to Progressive Behavior System (Rupert) staff that provided care for her on a daily basis. She was loved by each of them and enjoyed her life to the fullest extent each day. Also a thank you to her roommate who would allow Monica to jump on her bed at times and treat her as a lil sister. Deanna her service coordinator from Innovative Health Services visited frequently and each of them had an important part in her life. Again thank you!!!!!
Monica will be missed by everyone that knew her. Thank you for being a part of our lives Monica, Moni and Dufuss………………. We love you so much and it will take a long time to heal from the pain of losing you. You shall live in our hearts.
Funeral services will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 at Hansen Mortuary. Services are under the direction of Hansen Mortuary
